Data controller

The data controller is the owner of taxi-krakow.pl. For data protection matters, write to the e-mail address below or use the contact form.

Browsing the site

You can browse the site without giving any personal data. We do not create user accounts or take taxi bookings.

Your browser stores the chosen colour theme (light or dark), and cookies store your language (jezyk) and your consent decision (zgody). This is used only to run the site.

The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, which technically processes data such as your IP address and browser details on every page view to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)

With your consent, given in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 loaded through Google Tag Manager. It collects information about pages visited, clicks (e.g. on a phone number or a link to a company website), approximate location, device and browser. We use it to see which content is useful and for aggregated statistics for advertisers.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent Google Analytics stores no cookies (Consent Mode with default denial). You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies for up to 2 years. We keep Google Analytics data for 14 months.

Forms

When you submit a form (company listing, contact, data correction, advertising enquiry) we process the data you enter - e.g. e-mail address, name, company name, phone number and message - and the text and time of your consent.

Purpose: handling and answering your request. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for company listings and advertising enquiries, steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

Spam protection: forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the browser. To limit submissions from one place we store a one-hour hash of the IP address - never the address itself.

Submissions are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted automatically.

Who receives the data

Cloudflare, Inc. - site hosting, storing submissions, Turnstile protection and sending notification e-mails.

Google - the e-mail provider of the mailbox that receives submission notifications and (with your consent) Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Both providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under GDPR transfer mechanisms (including standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

We do not sell data or pass it to taxi companies or advertisers.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).

Providing data in a form is voluntary, but we cannot handle a request without it. We do not make automated decisions or profile users.

External links

The site links to taxi company websites, apps, OpenStreetMap and public authorities. Their own privacy rules apply there.

Changes

If we start using new tools, we will update this policy before switching them on.
