taxi-krakow.pl is an independent guide to taxis in Kraków. We are not a taxi company and do not take bookings - we help you check what a ride should cost and which company to choose.
Where our data comes from
Maximum fares come from Kraków City Council resolutions published in the Public Information Bulletin and the Małopolska Official Journal. We checked them on 20/10/2026.
We check company price lists on their own websites - 6 companies with verified prices are currently ranked. Companies whose prices cannot be verified are not ranked.
Distances and travel times come from OpenStreetMap; the city and zone I boundaries come from the resolutions, drawn on the map.
How we estimate fares
Fare = flag fall + kilometres in Kraków at tariff 1 (day) or 2 (night) + kilometres outside Kraków at tariff 3 or 4. For the airport taxi we use the fixed zone price.
It is always an estimate without traffic. The actual fare is set by the taximeter or the price quoted by the company or app.
How the site is funded
Company listings are free. The site is funded by ads and featured listings - always labelled "Ad" and never affecting the ranking.
